Richard Lipp, Rosewood Box Inlaid Piano £5,500

Richard Lipp, Rosewood Box Inlaid Piano £5,500

Rich Tone

Here we are offering a traditional German Richard Lipp in a decoratively box inlaid case, that our polisher has completely repolished highlighting the box inlay in the top centre panels. The photos of this instrument don’t do the painstaking work done by the craftsman justice.

With a full 85 note 7 octave ivory keyboard that our technicians have repolished, overstrung and under/damper action that we have retaped, hammers refaced, hammer rest felt replacement, pedal assembly felt refresh, etc. The serial number for the collectors is 27373

As you may have ascertained I’m a massive fan of the Lipp piano, the depth of tone in the bass section is unsurpassed by any other manufacturer due to the unique stringing technique developed solely by Lipp. Recently a customer with a music studio visited looking for an instrument with a deep rich bass, my first port of call was of course the lipp, its been used on quite a number of tracks now I’m told.
