The model 7 Bechstein. What a treasure. It may have been sold in fewer numbers than its counterpart, the model 8, but that only adds to its rarity and charm. Imported from Germany in such limited quantities, it’s no wonder the model 7 is a true gem that is not often available or restored to its full potential.
With a full 88 note 7 ¼ octave original ivory keyboard we have had professionally polished. Over strung and under/damper action that has been refurbished including hammer refacing, retaping, new hammer rail felt, etc. The serial for the Bechstein enthusiast is 65827.
