C. Bechstein Model 4, Repolished Ebony Piano £3,600

Immaculate in Black

Here we present the Bechstein model 4 in an ebony case that we have re ebonised using techniques that would have been originally employed when this stunning little piano was handcrafted in Berlin over one hundred years ago. With original brass sconces this piano really stands out from the crowd.

With a full 85 note 7 octave keyboard, over strung and under/damper action that has been refurbished including retaping, hammers refaced, new hammer rail felt, etc. The original ivory keyboard has been repolished professionally. The serial for the Bechstein enthusiast is 31115

The model 4 Bechstein has a subtle tone compared to the larger model Bechsteins in the range, we sell more model 4’s and 9’s than probably any other Bechstein, this isn’t down to the more reasonable cost but by customers experiencing the instruments for themselves.
