Complete Restoration Service

The same exacting level of sympathetic restoration that we apply to our own pianos is the service we offer to our clients. Our ethos is, and always will be, to carry out just the amount work that the individual instrument requires. We don’t carry out unnecessary work as we believe that every change has an impact on the integrity of the original instrument. 
 
So what service do we offer?
 
All our pianos are re-polished, actions refurbished as required, keyboards restored and re-polished, then regulated and tuned. That is the blueprint for our restored pianos for sale and therefore what we offer to you.
 
As with our stock, we specialise in restoring upright pianos. Grand pianos are undertaken but come at a premium due to space restrictions in our small workshop.

Professional Piano Restoration

What do we mean by the term ‘professional restoration’? 
 
The work is carried out by technicians who do this work day in day out and have done for years. These are seasoned professionals that are highly regarded throughout the piano industry for their work.
 
Our polishers have worked on hundreds of pianos over the years and made many seamless repairs to cabinets that have become damaged over time. No modern finishes, just traditional artisan subtle hand finishes befitting the traditional piano.
 
Regulating the piano is the process by which the piano technician sets up the piano to play to the best of its ability. Many new pianos never get regulated however it is a crucial factor. It can be argued that it is equally as important as tuning the piano.
 
It is also the little things that matter: fresh soft felt, string and cabinet deep clean, even down to a fresh back cloth and shiny brass work. Does your treasured piano deserve this treatment?
