Here we are offering a late edition model 8 Bechstein that our polisher has ebonised using the traditional hand finishing technique of french polishing to bring this piano back to its former glory. One of the last true Bechsteins produced when the Bechstein family still ran the business and produced pianos to Carl’s original blueprint.

With a full 88 note 7 ¼ octave ivory keyboard professionally polished. Overstrung and under/damper action that has been fully refurbished including hammer refacing, new dampers, retaping, hamer rest felt replacement,etc. The serial 104250 for the collector makes this a late true Bechstein.

Black and shiny with flat paneled modern looks, considering the obligatory Yamaha U3 with it’s bright harsh tone, come and try a piano with the subtle traditional round tone and discover what many others have, these can’t be compared.
