Here we are offering a Bechstein model M grand in a black ebony case we have completely repolished using the traditional technique of black french polishing, in keeping with our policy of sympathetic restoration befitting a traditional piano.

With a full 88 note 7 ¼ Octave ivory keyboard,serial 129175 dating this to 1927 making it a very late example of a true Bechstein produced in Berlin at the peak of Bechstein’s fame. Measuring six foot eight making this a very formidable instrument, backed with the illustrious Bechstein tone. The action was fully refurbished for the previous owner to a very high standard, our technicians have thoroughly bench serviced the action and regulated, tuned to concert pitch by our tuner.

Why a rare opportunity ? The model M is an exceptionally rare find outside of germany very few were ever exported during this period. This is a very sought after and capable instrument that has to be experienced to appreciate.
