Warranty
We hereby certify that the piano as sold is constructed of sound materials and provided it is tuned regularly by a fully qualified tuner (PTA number required) that is proficient at tuning and also regulating, not less than twice a year per annum at the expense of the purchaser, the warranty is valid from 5 years of purchase date when paid in full against structural failures except such as may be caused by accident, neglect, or fair wear and tear. Any defects which may arise during this period of the warranty and which on inspection are proved to our satisfaction to have been caused by unsound materials or faulty workmanship will be rectified free of charge, a visit from our technician is subject to the same tariff as delivery to cover fuel costs. The polish and casework does not come within the terms of this warranty, nor does damage which may be attributable to the instrument having been subjected to excessive heat or abnormal levels of humidity with particular regards to the effects of central heating.
Care Required
Don’t keep your piano in a damp or very dry atmosphere, inside walls with no radiators are preferred. Try to keep the temperature and humidity as constant as possible and at the right level, this will save you a lot of trouble. However, if a few keys begin to stick or the tuning alters slightly, don’t imagine the piano is faulty. When the piano goes into your home the change in temperature and humidity can cause such effects. We can correct sticking notes and other faults(other than tuning) under the warranty within a few minutes. Don’t let a novice, anyone other than a fully qualified PTA piano tuner who is both fully qualified in tuning and piano regulation tamper with your piano. Don’t use oil or grease on your piano for any purpose and please do not use spray polish on your piano. Don’t neglect tuning, this should be done twice a year, your piano needs to be regularly maintained. Don’t attempt to move your piano any considerable distance by anyone other than ourselves or a recommended removal firm. Play the piano however as that is what it was made for and will do both you and the piano good.
